Blue Lobster
In August of 2017, the Hauling Heney Brothers caught a very rare (one in two million) Blue Lobster off the coast line of Manchester by the Sea, MA and a pretty large striper as well! That was a day for record books for sure and after doing some research, the boys donated “Ol’ Blue” to the Gloucester Maritime Aquarium where he lives today in his own special tank for all to see and enjoy.
Side note and possibly kinda sad – Casey and Connor also believe that they caught a beautiful Red Lobster (one in ten million) one day while pulling traps, but unfortunately they did not think it was anything special or uncommon and neither did their Dad until they started researching the various colors of lobsters after catching “Ol’ Blue”. So long story short, that “very pretty lobster” most likely ended up on Uncle Bill’s dinner table…
